Receiving goods

Types of receptions

Receptions can be carried out as direct deliveries, production receipts, based on notification orders, or through integration with external systems.
Warehouse receipts can be approved from warehouse terminals.
Through various assortment receiving options in the program, the client can customize the scheme to meet specific customer requirements and preferences.
Upon client request, we can introduce optimizations to the receiving procedure, taking into account specific needs. This may include changing the order of steps, adding additional fields to receiving forms, establishing data validation rules, or automating certain tasks.

Web-based solution

The Studio WMS.net platform is developed using web technology and can be accessed using any popular web browser.

Goods issue

Issue

The goods dispatch process in the WMS.net program involves preparing the order, picking items from the warehouse, packing them, and preparing them for shipment. In the WMS.net system, barcode scanning of goods is possible, which facilitates their identification and tracking of their location. After collecting all items from the order, they can be packed and labeled, and then shipping documents can be prepared. The system allows for generating labels and shipping documents, which streamlines the logistics process. Upon completion of the goods dispatch process, the inventory can be updated, and information about the shipment can be transmitted to the ERP or e-commerce system.

Picking

The warehouse picking process may involve several steps, such as identifying and locating the appropriate products in the warehouse, retrieving them from the correct locations, and then assembling them into one order or set. It may also involve checking and confirming the quantity and quality of the products before issuing them.

Flexibility

Modern technologies and compliance with current standards such as HTML5 allow the Studio WMS.net system to be used on any platform: Microsoft Windows, Android, as well as Apple macOS or iOS.

Attach attachments and photos

Attachments

The functionality of adding attachments to warehouse documents or assortment records is useful in warehouse management. It allows for storing various types of files (text, images, scans, etc.) and linking them to document data or products. This enables easy access to additional information, such as invoice scans, photos of damaged goods, or operating instructions. Adding attachments also facilitates collaboration with other departments and suppliers by enabling the transmission of documents in electronic form.

Photographic documentation

By adding photos of products or the condition of goods to the system, warehouse staff can easily check how a particular product looked before shipment or what damages the goods had before receipt. This can also be helpful in identifying products from different suppliers, especially if they have similar packaging or serial numbers. Furthermore, photographic documentation can be used for audit purposes, quality monitoring, or training purposes for warehouse staff.

Personalization

Regardless of whether users prefer mobile applications on Android or iOS, or they use browser-based versions on different devices, the system will provide an optimal and tailored user experience for them.

Scanners

Data collectors

Portable terminals, equipped with built-in barcode scanners or RFID antennas, are devices that support the work of mobile workers in warehouse management.

Android data collectors operate online, meaning they require access via WiFi or LTE.

Mobile devices such as barcode scanners, data terminals, or smartphones enable workers to scan product barcodes, locations, or pallet identifiers. Data collected using these devices is automatically transmitted to the WMS.NET system, eliminating the need for manual data entry.

Data collectors in the WMS.NET program can also be used for conducting warehouse inventories. Employees can scan products and locations to verify whether the actual inventory matches the theoretical inventory in the system. Data collectors can also assist in managing cycle counts, where specific areas of the warehouse are regularly checked for accuracy and inventory levels.

Intuitiveness

The user interface is clear and intuitive, making it easy to use, and users can quickly learn to utilize all functionalities.

Cost accounting

Cost accounting generation

Cost settlement in the Studio Magazyn WMS.net warehouse program is particularly useful for logistics companies that provide warehousing services. As part of cost settlement, users can assign costs to specific warehouse operations, such as receiving goods, order picking, packing, or shipping.
Additionally, the program allows for the inclusion of costs associated with additional services that may be offered by logistics companies. Examples of additional services may include handling special orders, custom packaging, labeling, or other logistic services. The costs of these services can be assigned to relevant operations or clients, enabling precise settlement and analysis of costs related to additional services.
The generated document will allow us to settle with contractors easily without additional effort. The algorithm generating the settlement ensures data consistency and accuracy. We can export the generated document to a file format such as PDF or xlsx for further use.

Security

High level of data security is ensured through various protective mechanisms such as user authentication, access controls, and data encryption.

Logistic labels

Logistic labels

Logistic labels are an essential element of a WMS system, allowing for quick and easy marking of goods in the warehouse. They contain information such as barcode, serial number, description, and product location.

Logistic labels in a WMS system also enable precise tracking of goods movement in the warehouse, including receipt, shelving, relocation, order picking, and shipping. This provides accurate inventory control, allowing for quick decision-making related to inventory management and sales.

Operators can generate labels and use them to mark logistic units when goods are received into the warehouse. Labels can utilize standards such as EAN 13, EAN 128 (1D codes), or QR Code (2D codes).

Documents CMR and GS1

GS1 labels in the Studio Magazyn WMS.net program enable compliance with international product identification standards, facilitating collaboration with trading partners and integration with other logistics systems. With them, users can increase the precision, efficiency, and reliability of their warehouse operations.

The program allows for the printing of CMR (International Consignment Note) for transportation-related processes. The CMR printout contains necessary information about the transported goods, sender, recipient, transport route, delivery conditions, and other relevant details. As a result, users of the WMS.net system can generate and print complete and compliant CMR documents, facilitating transportation operations and ensuring compliance with international regulations.

Automation

WMS.net automates many warehouse management processes, such as generating picking lists, optimizing picking routes, automatically assigning locations, and generating labels and documents.

Reports

Warehouse reports

The WMS.Net system offers automatic generation of reports based on warehouse data, facilitating real-time monitoring and control of warehouse processes. The system provides a variety of reports, including inventory status, goods flows, orders, and staff performance. Reports are available in real-time, enabling immediate response to changes in the warehouse. Users can personalize the appearance and content of reports according to their needs. Reports can be easily exported to various formats such as PDF or Excel. The system also offers advanced data analysis tools such as charts and statistics to help understand the information contained in the reports. Reports are based on accurate and up-to-date data, increasing the precision of warehouse operations. Additionally, reports are easily accessible to authorized users at various levels of organizational hierarchy, facilitating warehouse management.

Visualization

Visualization

Visualization of storage space occupancy in the warehouse is a very useful tool that allows for accurate monitoring of the quantity of available space on shelves and the quantity of occupied storage spaces.

Visualization of storage space occupancy can take various forms – it can be presented graphically, for example, using a warehouse layout diagram where occupied and available spaces are indicated with colors or symbols. It can also be a list or table that shows all shelves in the warehouse along with information about their occupancy.

Visualization of storage space occupancy in the warehouse allows for better planning of product procurement and storage, contributing to the optimization of warehouse processes.
